Showroom Seven maintains a staff of 12 full-time salespeople. The markets are divided categorically for department stores, and geographically for specialty boutiques across the country. Each salesperson is responsible for a specific region, and systematically performs telemarketing duties within his or her territory before each market week to book appointments with the appropriate accounts. This account executive will later greet the buyers in the showroom and present the proper collections for their review. Specialty store buyers sometimes leave orders on the day of their appointment, but department store buyers usually take notes, which are typically confirmed at a later date. Each salesperson is also responsible in the same way for a specific category of merchandise within the department store structure.
